By installing or using Scanpause you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

The app

Scanpause is a free QR code and barcode scanner. It is supported by ads.

Link notes are hints based on the address only. Scanpause does not visit links and does not check them against a threat database, so a link with no notes can still be unsafe. You decide whether to open a link and are responsible for that choice.

Your content

Your records and settings are stored only on your device and are not backed up by the app; uninstalling the app or clearing its storage deletes them.

Acceptable use

• Do not reverse engineer, modify or redistribute the app, except where the law allows it.
• Do not use the app to break the law or to infringe anyone's rights, including copyright.
• Do not interfere with the ads, for example by generating fake clicks or impressions.

Ads and third-party services

The app shows ads from Google AdMob and uses Google Firebase. Their use is described in our Privacy Policy and governed by Google's terms.

No warranty

The app is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the app will be free of errors or available at all times.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including decisions to open, or not open, a scanned link.

Changes and termination

We may update the app or these terms. Continued use after an update means you accept the new terms. You can stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it.
